Privacy
How we handle your information.
What we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Consultation inquiries
We use the contact details and inquiry you provide to respond, discuss the services you need, and manage follow-up.
Please don’t send sensitive tax information through this website. Keep tax documents, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, birth dates, income records, and payment details out of your inquiry.
Service providers and retention
Our website, email, and analytics providers process information needed to deliver their services, including technical records such as IP addresses, browser information, and timestamps. We do not sell inquiry information or use the contact details or message you submit for advertising.
We retain information to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. Stored website inquiries are normally removed after one year; email correspondence, backups, and required records may be retained longer.
Analytics and advertising choices
For visitors identified as being in the United States outside California, analytics and eligible advertising features start automatically unless you have opted out. Elsewhere, or when your location is unknown, they stay off until you allow them. We use approximate country and state information from Cloudflare to choose these defaults without saving that location with your inquiry. You can allow analytics without advertising, allow both, or reject both. Your choice does not affect the consultation form.
When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (G-QJE3J15NX7) to understand site traffic and whether the site confirmed a consultation request. The confirmation event contains no contact details, message, or service selection from the form. Google may collect page views, device and browser information, referral and advertising-click information, IP addresses, and use cookies to distinguish visits. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
When advertising is enabled, we also use Google Signals and share eligible browsing activity with Google Ads. Google Signals can associate visits with information from signed-in Google users who have enabled personalized ads, providing aggregated demographics and interests reporting. We and Google use first-party Analytics cookies together with Google’s advertising cookies or device identifiers for these features. Google and other vendors may show our ads across the internet using cookies or device identifiers based on earlier visits to this site.
Contact and confirmation pages, tax-notice and prior-year-return pages, and tax guides are excluded from advertising personalization. We do not upload consultation details or customer lists to Google. A browser’s Global Privacy Control signal disables advertising features even if an earlier choice allowed them.
Your browser stores choices you make here and their dates. Choices that disable analytics or advertising remain until you change them or clear browser storage; a choice allowing both expires after 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, tracking stays off until you choose, and that choice lasts only for the current page. If you dismiss a consultation reminder, your browser remembers that choice for the current tab. After a confirmed inquiry, the browser may briefly store a one-time marker so the confirmation is counted once when analytics is enabled. None of these stored choices or markers contains contact or tax information.
Your choices
Use Privacy choices in the footer to opt out or change your settings at any time. Opting out stops future optional tracking on this browser; it does not delete information already collected. You can also control cookies through your browser, use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool, manage personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, or review and delete your Google account activity through My Activity. For privacy questions, use our contact form without including sensitive information.
